Just FYI....
DNS is playing havoc! So really if you have old DNS cache pointing to the server it will cause mess everywhere. This is going to take at least 12 hours for DNS to resolve cleanly. Which means i have to make some changes.

The good news is we are on the new server and running! And it seems very fast.

Please everyone just bare with me, whilst DNS and server updates go through overnight. This is a little tricky, but things will look like they are broken, please don't try to fix them, as i am aware of most issues.. (all DNS related  ???)

Cheers
Justin

Wow, the old girl's flying along!!!! Just a question, if I go to www.au.myswag.org, I get an "Apache 2 test Page". Anyone else get this, and when the whole migration is complete, which web address will we use?
Great work all involved. Well done :cup: :cup: :cup:

Yes you will see the apache 2 test page (fixing that at the moment..)

I've given up on the DNS rotation i was using. And going to wait until www.myswag.org fixes for everyone. Some people will already have it fixed.. Others it will take overnight. The host in America was extremely painful and the forum relies on DNS heavily.

This is going to cause a few weird problems, but it will fix itself... With a little assistance from me..

Just a warning for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

making some major changes.. (big one..) the URL/Forum is now just www.myswag.org (there is no /forum required anymore).

Still Fixing lots of links and themes, and trying to get things organised on the new server.. Please feel free to use the forum, just be mindful of things changing around us...

Wow is this place quick now or what! 0.2s to load a page compared to over 12s with the old server. You got to be happy with that!  :cup:

There still some more work to do in the background and Justin is putting in some big hours for us while juggling meetings, clients and catching flights. So please be patience over the next few days while the fine tuning is done and the gallery being setup.

Cheers
Brett

Just a question, I find I have to log in every time where as the old system would leave me logged in until I logged out. Is this for security purposes?
