TomTom GO Live 820 - Impressed
« on: August 09, 2012, 09:58:21 AM »
Hey Gang,

I bought a TomTom GO LIVE 820 yesterday for $198 and needless to say, I'm suitably impressed!

http://www.tomtom.com/en_au/products/car-navigation/go-live-820-regional/index.jsp

It includes a sim card, for LIVE traffic updates to alert you to any accidents or congestion.

It also allows Google searches for businesses, and includes information such as phone numbers.

It also comes with 12 map updates included too.

I was not nearly expecting this much from a new GPS and I think it's great.

Admittedly, my previous GPS is now over 5 years old and the maps it had were too (why I'm upgrading) and I had done no research into what was on offer before I bought it.

Cheers,

Jon
