Hi
« on: July 24, 2012, 10:16:42 PM »
Hi all,

Just signed up today. We've been campers for years and envious of our friends with camper trailers, so we bit the bullet and after much searching settled on an Omeo from Tambo Campers.  I was keen on the Marlo, but the rest of the family liked the storage and space in the Omeo, so who was I to argue!  As it turns out, we ended up getting the display Omeo model Tambo had in their showroom before they closed down just in the last week or so. They offered us a discount on the display model, so again, no argument.

Sad to see them close, one of the reasons we chose a Tambo was the great feedback they were getting on this and other sites. Still at least I am confident we have a strong and reliable camper.

Now to start planning some trips to test it out and get ready for a 3 month trip to the centre  and WA this time next year.

Cheers
Big Tread

You've done well and sounds like you were in the right place at the right time for a deal. Happy days! And nights around the fire.
