What are the plastic case fridges like compared to the metal case. I was looking at a 47L ARB fridge but the 40L Engel with plastic case looks appealing.

Seems to be good, they have been out for a number of years and all reports are good, we picked one up to use as a freezer as we can only get about 5 nights worth of meals in the Expanda freezer now the kids are eating adult size meals.

$799 A good price with cover and bonus pack

$200 is only about 11% if you're getting one of the bigger Engels (eg. $1800) but ok for smaller ones.

Rays sometimes have 26.5% off everything sales which is when their prices are definitely the lowest for Engels.

I bit the bullet today and replaced my current fridge - A 90 litre Liemack (reefer) with a Waeco CF50.

I bought it at BCF and played dumb to the guy there.
It was amazing the amount of sales pitches and bs he could come up with.....
It ended up being quite entertaining.
He was talking current draw, useable size etc etc.
Credit to him, he was trying to make the sale, and I'm guessing most unexperienced people would believe him, but I did enjoy it.  >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D >:D

I was looking at the CF60, but ended up with the smaller shorter one so SWMBO can reach in.
Its only for drinks in the car, (read as beer and perhaps one bottle of moscato for her!!! :-*) as food goes in the glamper fridge.

Now I know its an engel post, and sorry if I've hijacked it, but I thought I'd share my fun....

Cheers
Brian
