hi all
« on: July 15, 2012, 05:54:05 PM »
Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.....

We picked up our ranger off road (skamper kamper) in May.  Its been on two weekend trips so far, first one to Wellington, the second to Colo Heights.

Thinking of heading up to Myall lakes in Sept.

Already added the 12v battery system, wired up to various points, made some led light bars and various switch boxes. Oh and added a small solar panel to give the battery a maintenance charge.  Also added two pole carriers, well three but i replaced the lower one with a 150mm as i have buckets of poles.

Here are some pics, hoping on the next trip to only setup the main tent and annex.  The tarp on the front was to provide an additional covered cooking area as i had 12 people with me.

Chris

Thanks, great to finally have one.  Have my next two trips worked out.

Its deceptive, theres a tarp on the front. I also setup the kids room at the back as a shower / toilet space as i was bush bashing during the day through thick scrub and wanted a warm place to shower.

I hope to get away with only the main tent and awing in future ;D

If i need a shower i'll take the small ensuite tent in future.  Only took 15mins to setup main tent and awing with no walls, took ages to packup, hoping to get quicker in future.
