Just couldnt resist. Done it both ways several times to visit the daughter in Cairns, flew with Jetstar only takes 3hrs. And a lot cheaper than driving. ;D

Kuranda, Charters Towers, Emerald, Blackall, Quilpie, Cameron Corner, Tibooburra, Broken Hill, Adelaide.  I can't remember how long it took, about two/three weeks I think. Coming back was slower.

Adelaide, Pt Lincoln, Ceduna, Eucla, Kalgoorlie, Broome, Cape Leveque, GRR, Mitchell Falls, El Questro, Kununurra, Bungles, Halls Ck, Top Springs, Dunmarra, Three Ways, Cloncurry, Karumba, Croydon, Kuranda.

Any way that avoids the Hay plain. And never get there after dark because  you should always make Hay while the sun shines.

Hey there Eagle. It is going great. I wish the weather was a little better though so I could get it out and have a good look. Might go to Deep Creek in a few weeks.
