Gday all, 1st time post and thanks for having me.
« on: June 29, 2012, 09:18:21 PM »
Hi, everyone.
this is my second post in this forum. I have been into 4bying for some 15 years now and an avid tent camper until this time 2 weeks ago when my partner and I picked up our first camper trailer a 2004 Aussie swag rover. We had been looking at campers since Australia day 2011 when my mate turns up for our Aus day long wknd camping trip with a little camper trailer he went half with his dad in. Ever since then seeing how easy it was to set up and pack up etc especially with kids in tow we had been on the hunt for one, and finally found the perfect one for our needs and especially our budget.

The picture's below of it set up are from the previous owners place when we inspected it and only been able to tow home and store away due to weather and bucks wknd away last wknd.

the original obsession with 4wding and now our camper tow tug has been my beloved 97 model poverty pack 80 series wich i bought back in 2000, still with new car warranty, and i have spent too many dollars customising since then to count. It did originally come with 2'' lift kit,PTO winch, arb lockers, and lots more and i have since added things like Dts turbo and i/c, cruise control, alloys, muddies on other rims, and rear storage system just to scratch the surface. I am a member of other well known 4wd/landcruiser forums with same username and look forward to learning the ins and outs of this great site.

I look forward to my new camper obsession and learning all there is to know and places to go with it from your most learned selves.

It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.
