Here's a good pic of mine. A Trek Superfly 100AL with a KS dropper post that I love!
This was taken on MT Clarence, overlooking Middleton Beach in my hometown of Albany WA.
There's a lot of fun tracks on the hills there.

I discovered that a couple of guys at work were cycling so I dusted the old mountain bike out and tried to keep up...I found it was a bit dark with the early morning starts so I went to my local bike shop to buy some lights and walked out with a new road bike.

Then worked out it was hard work having to transport the bike between Roma and Brisbane so I picked up this ebay special for Roma

By now I had discovered Strava and my hours on the bike had increased. The wife wasnt happy that i was away with work all week, coming home Friday and then off to play rugby and riding on the weekends...so Rugby had to go but I was missing waking up with bruises, skinned legs and the odd broken bones so rugby was replaced with this:

and I still have the old mountain bike for camping and riding with the kids

Now I just have to work out how to keep up with the youngins

Looks like this bike stuff is addictive. I had a 'browse' through a bike store yesterday and walked out with $200+ worth of stuff I 'needed' :)

Upgraded from my 8 y.o. alloy EMC2 to this 10 y.o. Litespeed Tuscany titanium about a year ago.  Have put many thousand kms on it and it still sings!  SRAM Force, Easton carbon forks, bars and seatpost, Mavic Open Pro 32 spokes on Dura Ace hubs.  This bike may outlast me.  :-)  I've been looking at another cheaper bike for commuting duties, but currently use the Litespeed as my everything bike.

My 26er bike (originally posted in the mancave thread) that i picked up on ebay for $53.

As i got it-

now-

$50 bucks for some new small block 8 tires, 40 for the rims and $7 for some spokes/nipples,
oh and about 3 and a half hours truing the rebuilt rims in the mancave.

The poor thing was a victim of a failed bike carreir bracket and but the bitumen at 100lm/hr just out of Cann Rver.

My new steed  :cup:

Rides awesome! Really looking forward to taking on Hunchback hill this weekend.  ;D
Its a Giant Trance X 29er 00. Full sram XO carbon 2x20 groupset, XO 4 piston hydraulic brakes, Carbon headstem and bars, Dropper seat post, Air forks/shock, DT swiss rims.

You know for a bloody expensive bike it didn't come with any pedals???
I added a couple of creature comforts, JetBlack saddle bag, Surefire LED lamp (its brighter than the navaras headlights lol)
Topeak Iglow rear fender, chuckblocker front fender, Giant Magnesium sealed bearing MTB pedals, and a bonnieger computer.

I have had Sram X9 groupsets on my last couple of bikes and I thought they were the ducks nutz but the X0 is a different ball game! Its super precise and so far impossible to get a wrong shift. That and the X0 brakes are endo educing.

Cheers

Just flats mate. I have to use this as a "family" cruiser too. So I didn't want to have to wear special shoes just to do a 20km ride with the misses and kids.
If I get my other frame built it will be a general purpose bike, but so far this one seems to be a really good all rounder. I'm really looking forward to finding some good single tracks. I think I'll have to join a club as I don't know anyone around here that rides those.

Cheers
