Ouch, passing backmarkers is always fraught with danger especially if you have no brakes.
Got me a pair of these coming for my off road excursions and at $89 down from a RRP of $379, it won't matter if they aren't flash on the feet.
Interesting design, Giro make good gear.
Spent the weekend in Bright, we were lucky with amazing weather. Of course I took 2 bikes, retro bike to ride the rail trail and carbon bike to climb Mt Buffalo.
Do you still have the Ripmo?
Yup, it's in for a complete strip and service at the moment.
Nice!!
I'd ridden it pretty hard for 2 years without touching it so it was overdue for some loving. Fork, shock, dropper post service, bushes/bearings replaced/lubed, brake flush/bleed, new gear cable. It should be good for another couple of years.
It was a struggle this morning to ride.
Looks like it was a struggle to stop riding to take the pic
I’ve been told the combo of my weight (now down to around 100kg) and the power I’m putting down when sprinting is giving the 30mm deep 24hole standard DTswiss rear wheel a hard time.... it’s going out of true within 1000km of riding.
it's not fancy or fast but l enjoy getting out on it along my local roads.
doesnt have to be fancy to be fun!
