Buying Jaydove
« on: June 11, 2012, 08:35:13 PM »
Our current camper is a 30' x 20' tarp, old age has the wife  looking at a bit more comfort.
We looked at 1983 Jayco Jaydove camper vantoday for $2000,  is the wind up one, without the pop out end beds.
Does anyone have any info on this model as we can't find anything on the web relating to this model as all research shows the a bed at each end.

The front  won't wind up but otherwise seems in reasonable condition, no cooking appliance but has a fridges and roof annexe,  canvas seems good and 12 mths rego it is a lot better than most we have looked at.

We are new at thi so would appreciate any feedback
Thanks, Kev

I started out with nothing and still have most of it

Thanks albany_nomads for your reply, it is interesting to see what Burnsey has done.
I don't think I will go that far though as long it is serviceable and  comfortable it will do the job for now
Thanks again,
Kev
