The Speewa Syndrome
« on: May 19, 2012, 10:23:12 PM »
I know I'm new to this forum, and that I have only met 1 other ( sorry 2, but 1's a lurker ) member up untill now, but  was thinking about maybe going to the meeting in July that speewa is organising.
However a very disturbing trend seems to appearing from members that have had the fortunate ? experience of meeting with him  ??? so I really need some honest  :police: and unbiased help and opinions from people that have come into contact with said "speewa"  >:D

Examples,  people seem to have a drinking problem when he's around, but it's his fault or their reading ability seems to fade, so can you enlighten please ? ;D He sounds like an experienced camper, so should I trust his camp site selection with regard to bush fires or flooding etc  ;)

Please note I am NOT starting a flame war, being derog, beeng derogatrii , damn grunge hemitage, hermitage, blasted speelchekers gone pht,g'nite

Good point xcavator l don't trust Speewas shadow always standing back or following just behind him as he goes to the Engal yet again .
Theres only 1 way to find out . Have a go .
Dont worry the floods put out the last smoldering embers of the bushfires , most of the mud should be hard enough to only sink in to your waist if your really tall . Bring extra grog in case we get in to difficalties

The first time I met Speewa was at the National Meet, within half an hour I had a headache - not from drinking but from laughing so much!!

An absolute top guy and if I had any chance on going on any trip he has organised I'd be there.

Speewa's alter ego, Jamie is a lovely bloke [that's $50 you owe me mate]. He loves a beer [if you can call VB in a can, beer] but there are 2 rules.

1. Never believe what he tells you.

2. If in doub't, refer to rule 1.

As John says, a top bloke, but your ribs will hurt at the end of it!

If you are really worried take a dog with a tartan coat. He reckons he is scared for life after the savage licking my pup gave him.

My main worry was that every one around or near speewa seemed to have a drinking problem.
The problem seemed to be that they had nothing left to drink after being in the company of the said speewa for any length of time.   I don't know about others, but to me that is a major concern, what happens to the grog, is any particular grog less prone to disappearing than others. Does this disappearance have anything to do with understanding of the written words of the said speewa ?  ??? .ie the more that disappears the easier the writing to understand  ;D
Would a high tensile steel cable locked around the fridge reduce or eliminate this grog disapprearance  >:D

As others have said Speewa is a top bloke with plenty of stories.
Just go to the camp and enjoy, just get a camp site at the other end of the camp ground, he snores ;D

Looks like you get slightly surprised looks, a comfy chair, weather coverings, a table that empty cans fall off and a torch.

Can't be all that bad?  Can it?

As for the Speewa Speak ... I can hold 1 day comprehensive lessons in how to understand Speewa Speak ... It's an internet course.  All monies can be donated to the Keep Speewa's Mouth Wet Appeal ...
