Hi,
in 2004 it was hot water bottles some nights, jumpers during the day, rain coat as well to break the cool wind if it was blowing.
Very pleasant in the sun and out of the wind. Nice and livable climate for us Tasmanians.

cheers

No. Fine time to go provided that you are prepared. Take firewood or buy some there. And warm clothes.
Been there that time of year for the last 3 years for a night or few. :D

Enjoy

We're going, and are aware the nights will be cold.  Shouldn't be that much colder than here at the moment!!

Can't wait  ;D Kris

The Fj club is heading there in August, so if you are in the area around the 20th might see you

It is a great time of the year to go there.
Take your woolies and rug up at night, walk a lot during the day and you will have a fantastic holiday.
Make sure you take a flight over Wilpena Pound.

Cheers
Parry

We had our SA MySwag Meets in the FLinders in June last year and the year before - yes it was all cold but a warm fire, thermals, and binis solved everything.

The days were mostly clear and sunnny which made up for it.

Thanks for all the replies. Will decide on the time of trip soon, it's all around work. but need a break soon and just read Viv & Ron Moon's Flinders book and would go tommorow if I could. Cold at night is not to bad aslong as its warm during the day
Thanks all
