The wait is the hardest we started the quote process back mid-april and its been a juggle of finances and arranging my husbands time off to suit the dry season to ensure we are back home before the Goyder river becomes impassible once the wet season starts.

We went with the standard off-road with the following main things:
12 Foot tent with provision for kids room
100mm lift
full annexe
Drifta DPOR with fridge box in Black S/S and the Drifta storage box with pantry to match and the Evakool fridge.
Jumbo toolbox
Double Pole holder
Extra jerry can holders
Plus a few others.

Can't wait to get it and also really looking forward to the 3 week trip home using it.

Hi elle.mac,

We purchased a Drifta standalone kitchen just before Easter and are VERY happy with it.

Sounds like you are getting a very nice setup.

Thanks. Kit_e first journey for it is the one home from Brisbane to Nhulunbuy and we are taking the long way home up the qld coast to Townsville before heading back west to NT with a detour to Lawn Hill, once back in the territory we will work our way up to Darwin before heading back down to Katherine for the final day drive from there home. - a good approximately 5800km trip home over 3weeks.

Argh over the wait still 3 and half weeks til pickup. Just had an email letting me know they have done the trailer and the canvas is in the cue to be done and we are still on track for our pickup date of 2nd October, plus the Drifta kitchen package is sitting there ready to go in. Its torture....anyone know how to speed up time??
