Anybody using the DODO network?
« on: May 02, 2012, 12:00:12 AM »
Hi All,

Just wondering if anybody is using the DODO network, prepaid.

Have noticed advertised on TV,
39.90 month,
unlimited calls/texts
5gb data
100 international minutes

Sounds good, too good to be true?
I see they are on the vodaphone network for prepaid.

Thanks all in advance
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

I used to be on dodo they are a nightmare they ring you atleast once a week to sell you am upgrade tfere service is worse than Optus and you barely get what you pay for that was my experience anyway friends of mine were with them and were getting called every night from up sellers I even tried 3. Times to go on there don't call me list failed everytime I tried Optus and never got
Coverage I'm now on Telstra and its worth every dollar

I think you answered your own question.

I too am a happy Telstra user. In regional areas Telstra is the only network providing a signal.

Pay a few dollars more, you'll be much happier as you'll get reception, whereas with DODO/Optus you may not. Kinda defeats the purpose if you get heaps of credit and then don't have reception to be able to use it!

I believe Dodo uses optus infrastructure ( I could be wrong)

However living in the bush I have learnt (and for those of you who want to travel out of the city) that Telstra next g is the ONLY way to go. Once you get out of town the 3g signal is useless. I dont like telstra any more than the next bloke, but no one else compares to the coverage, despite what they claim.

Cheers Chippy :D

A guy at work was with DoDo, and the only thing worse that being with DoDo was trying to get away from DoDo.

He would call up to cancel the account and get put on hold for 2 hours+. When he did get through they didn't speak English, they would offer to call back, but wouldn't, the phone would drop out or they would stuff it up and the account would trip over to another month.
