I am currently in the market for 4 x BFG A/T 265 70 17LT's. Rang around last week for prices and was quoted $345 at Tyre King Baulkham Hills & $350 at Jax Castle Hill.

Mal you can have my old ones for free if you like although with a trip to the cape, two trips to central oz, a trip to the high country and about 70 000 k Of general use and abuse on them they are pretty much stuffed!

I'm up to 86,000km on my current set of BFG's so far. I'll hang on to a couple as spares for the CT.

I rang Tyre King this morning for some BFG Muddies, 285/70R17 $474 per tyre! Even the cheapest 17" muddy was $400. My mate is prepared to do a set of Maxxis Buckshots for cost $380, delivered not fitted.

Managed to score 5  BFG 285X75X16 muds off EBay for $229 that have about 25K each left on them.
Was at Tyre King a couple of days ago getting one put on a rim. Too scared to ask the current price for new ones.
Last time I paid for new one in Newman, WA about two years ago was $350 cash fitted.  :D

I just got a quote for 215 70 R16 Yokohama Geolander AT-S for our 99 Rav4 at a price of $255 fitted and balnaced. I know they are no BFG AT but at that price I think they will are a clear  winner ....

Cheers Chippy :D

Recently put the same tyres on our Outlander. $220 f&b. Great tyre for that size car.

I got my (4) BFG A/T 265/65/17 with the free Bushranger Air Max compressor deal @ $320 ea from Bob Jane. I would expect that the 285's would be a lot dearer.

Coromal, do you know if Bob Jane still running this special?  Good deal!
