Bli Bli Caravan Parh QLD
« on: April 24, 2012, 05:01:28 PM »
Can anybody comment on Bli Bli Caravan park, I have to go to a wedding at Twin Waters at the end of July and need somewhere close by to stay a few nights before heading off on 2 weeks into outback QLD. The price was $25 a night per unpowered site and as much grass as i need was the reply when I asked the size.
Thanks in advance Matt

Bli Bli is nice ... used to live there but nowhere near the CVP ... my pick for you would be Mudjimba CVP.  Almost on the beach and a shorter distance from it's neighbour Twin Waters.  You could probably stumble back to your site.

I live near by - the CVP is opposite my local news agent.
Personally I would not stay there. It looks run down.
Mudjimba beach CVP would be closer for you and looks better.

Mudjimba or Cotton Tree would be my pick britts.

Bli Bli is more a permanent type of CP. Its pretty average,I would be giving it a miss. .

Thanks for the replies, have looked at both and will probably book into Mudjimba, as it's closer, $60 a night & they wonder why I don't like van parks.

for an unpowered site?
Is that normal?
Wow, I obviously don't get out enough.  (I've no idea how much our local CVPs are)
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Sunshine Coast CVPs that back onto beaches are fairly pricey, yes.

$60 was at the cheaper end of the van parks, and the top end of my budget ;D
