  • If I agree with you, then we would both be wrong!
On our way south we stopped at Goulburn for some fuel & food, as we were leaving we bumped into a couple & thier kids, just picked up a brand new "Complete Campsite" CT from the manufacturers & were heading back to Perth with it.

What an adventure!

We did chat for a minute or 2 but I'm buggered if I can remember their names...anyway, I know they are "All over myswag" so with luck they will read this.

Hope all goes well guys,

Regards

I would do the same if i bought from afar. Load up the Patrol with all the camping gear, do the long drive solo and fly the family in. Load the camper and have a shake down trip on the way home.

Luckily Tambo is only half and hour away so I can do it a little different in a few weeks ;D

We only had 1100km to our dealer (SEQ Campers and Gear), but enjoyed every minute of the "delivery". From there it was a quick one to Fraser to see how it performs. On the way back, the dealer had a good look at the camper, checked everything out and only then sent us on the way home. This worked so well, that in two weeks we are going back there to collect our upgraded fridge before heading back down towards Flinders via Burke and Mungo NP. Any excuse to get away :D
