I hope Karise wins, Rachel has such an amazing voice, but I'd like to see her do something different. Fatai doesn't float my boat

Fatai has a fantastic voice, but it is a voice that is not unique. You could probably rattle off a dozen artists with similar quality voices ,and I mean excellent quality as I think she is excellent. However, Karise Eden's voice has mojo, soul and one who's quality we only see once a decade if at all.

Pretty much sums up how I think.....
I remember eating dinner when karise began her first song and from the moment those first notes where sang I was gobsmacked.... Then to see her aunt and uncle who look after her in such an emotional state..... I wanted her to win
A local girl to boot :)

Good to see you can have a successful program like this without an evil judge. And it is really pleasing to see the artist and coach sing songs of their choice rather than the theme nights Idol had that made many sound awful. It provides for a great night of real entertainment.

Both girls are brilliant singers but Karise definitely has the edge. She has a unique voice, somewhat like Joss Stone.

I reckon Karise has just won the Voice with her rendition of Hallelujah. Nine MSN views of her performance is about 3 to 1 compared to the other competitors. I love her voice, and dare I say it, she could just be the next 'Mrs Marschy'.

Footnote: The current Mrs Marschy just reminded me I can't afford a new Mrs Marshy as I haven't finished paying for the old one.

Karise for me. That voice sends shivers down my spine. Her rendition of Back to Black in the battle rounds was soooooooooo cool , and Hallelujah last night just blew me away.

As much as I want Darren to win, based on tonight's performances I think it is between Sarah and Karise.
I owe, I owe, it’s off to work I go…

X 55. She has the number 1 and 2 hit on itunes at the moment. Imagine her getting stuck into some Led Zepplin classics!

Karise has 4 songs in the iTunes top 10. If she doesn't win, there is something dodgy goin' on.

While her voice is great can't see a music label getting behind her and marketing her.

The blind girl has novelty factor and the mums will like her but again not a huge commercial market I think.

Darren will do alright out of this, won't win but will get lots of work.

The red head will win, get a fast tracked album done which will do alright and then disappear

Makes you wonder why she is appealing to the baby boomers and gen y more than gen x. My 24 yo son who tends to do a lot of thinking below the waist wants Sarah De Boner (as my son calls her) to win as does my 13 yo daughter.

Is this an indication of her style appealing to the older generations because of similarities to singers of old, like Janis Joplin, or simply because she is bloody excellent and our hormones don't influence our decisions as much as gen x?

Am I a victim of my past, or am I just getting old?

The problem comes down to the voting being done in a manner that is purely biased towards 16 year old girls voting via social media. Talent at this stage is a given, popularity is only related to those who vote, not those who would buy the albums

Crap...because she isnt the prettiest  out there.....???
Have a look at Casey Chambers...very succesful country singer and in my opiniom....not very attractive at all.....
Beth Ditto also comes to mind....the lead singer from "Gossip"... have u seen her........
Any way.... i have enjoyed the show...some great talent and good songs

This is true, unfortunately. However, I think even if Karise doesn't win (which IMO would be unlikely), she would go on to have a more successful career than the others. She appeals to a much wider  range of people. Look at those of us commenting here.....can't vouch for the rest of you, but I ain't no 16 year old girl ;D ;D ;D I do own one though, and she actually voted for Karise (she must have inherited her fathers taste in music!!)
