Bucket lists
« on: April 10, 2012, 11:17:40 PM »
What do you guys want to do before you move on?

I want to see a low fly by a hurricane, spitfire or a mustang. Saw the roulettes last weekend in Warrnambool and am still buzzing, those guys are incredible.

What would Barnaby do?

I was listing places but it's nearly easier to just say world tour.
Top of the list are Ireland, The Vatican and The Smithsonian

I used to have a longer detailed list but my plans fell apart and the rebuild is seeing things go in a different indistinct direction.

Im hoping by the time I become a cashed up retiree , that the technology with space travel / tourism will develop so much that the cost of travel becomes cheap and the  ticket prices of going a sub orbital might only be $15K - $20K. Even if it's only a few hours, the ability to do so would be amazing.

One can only dream, but that's my No 1 bucket list wish.

Google space tourism or space holidays, it's amazing how many sites are offering trips already , including trips to the moon or walking in space ( many millions at the moment).

Seen these websites myself , funny thing is you can actually book and pay online.

Cheers

I want to see my kids grow old, contented and have families of their own. And I want them to be way more successfull and affluent than their old man.

Everything in between is a bonus.

Unfortunately the first thing on my bucket list is something I can never do, I would have loved to sit down with Mahatma Ghandi for a couple of hours talk.
My main wish is to one day learn how to play a musical instrument.

Plus 1 on your number 1 there Kieran.

I'd like a trip around this great country of ours, with my beautiful wife and to see my kids grow up and have their own dreams come true..

Not much really..
