Hi all, and g,day from the north of NSW the Tweed coast, Well after a lot of years tenting, Mostly in National park camp areas with ammenities at hand for the wife and child on Fraser Island , I convinced the wife to camp the beach areas.
So the tent went into storage and plans for a camper trailer and a bit of neccesity gear to camp indepndent of services were started, lots of looking, measuring and decision months later I came up with my home built light weight camper trailer and gear to suit us .
Now fabrication wise IE: welding I manage to melt steel together with a mig , can hit it with a hammer and it doesnt come apart, then thats welded, PRETTY no !!! Rough and ready but welded all the same, Never been one for for fancy paint and chrome, just build it practical and use it .
Will throw up some pics when I work out how this forum does it , been a member of 4wd actions forum for years so hopefuly its a similar process.
