Disco95/Andrew in hospital
« on: March 22, 2012, 07:41:20 PM »
Hi all thought I'd advise that Disco95 (my BIL) has just been admitted for emergency surgery.
(Eye injury)... Just spoke to the man before he went in for the op and his main concern was could I bring in my laptop tomorrow and work from the hospital so he can get on MYSWAG!!!!!!

Now thats what I call commited & addicted to myswag  ;D

He'll be fine.. he's been a one eyed richmond supporter for years!!!

Hi Guys
Thanks for your well wishes

While I was getting my eyes check to update my glasses the optometrist found a problem with my right eye, and told me to come back Thursday to put drops in to dialate my eyes so he could see it better. So got the wife to drop me because you cant drive with this stuff in your eyes for two hours, He had another look and told me my retina was detaching from my eye and would have to go straight to the eye and ear hospital to have surgery to reattach it. So after 5 hours more drops more tests more poking about they came to the conclusion that my retina [not rectim] has a slice in it So after all that no need for surgery just got to keep an eye on it [sorry about the pun]. So any body who sees flashes all spots go ta a optometrist because once the retina starts to detach it does not take long to go blind in that eye.

Cheers for now
