On the news it is saying the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park is closing down
will be a big job shifting the 'big lizards' out to their new home

was a place he loved and made an effort to talk with visitors when he was there
no-one, not even family, could fill those old weather-beaten leather boots  :'(

NOOO!!!!

A visit to Malcolm's park is at the top of our to do list when we're over there around June!!

Must have watched his shows over and over for years.  Can remember sitting with our boys loving his adventures.

No wonder they love camping!

There's plenty more to this story than you hear. His family are not interested in the Croc part, did not want to fill his shoes. The only the breading of endangered species so they do not share there love of breading Croc Like ld Mate did. The main reason for the big park was to services the breading and subsequent export of croc skins etc and the monies ganed for that went in the the Bilby breading and other areas. The old Crocs park was always on it's way out, the land is worth to much and were not sure what will happen with it yet. There is talk of moving the markets down there (great idea) or another them park type of thing.
