Wheel track measurements ?
« on: January 07, 2012, 07:23:07 PM »
Trying to find out how to measure the ' wheel track measurements ' for a camper / 4wd ?.
Is it from the inside of the tyre / outside of the tyre / centre of the rim ?.

Cheers

I would imagine the measurement would be taken from outside to outside of the brake drum, because there are wheels available with differant offsets if that makes sense.

I think it is from center of rim to center of rim. To make it easier to measure go from the inside of one rim to the outside of the other.
This is also has a lot to do with the offset of your rims so the measurement will vary a bit.
