AJ2013
« on: December 24, 2011, 07:20:58 AM »
I know from reading past threads that there are quite a number of scout leaders that are members here. Last night I registered for the Australian Jamboree in Maryborough during 2013 and I started wondering how many swaggers might be there and if so should we try to organise a quick catch up??

I'll be in the QLD Contingent working in the support team.

Sandman
Sound like a good idea, sadly I will not be going to AJ2013 I have been to the last two and at this point in time I think that is enough,The wife says justify paying $1500 to look after 35/ 11 to 15year olds 24/7 for 10 days and it is a hard one to answer, I managed the dust and heat at Elmore, The Funnel webs and Qantas food at Cataract ( I am still trying to work out if the spiders or food was more dangerous  ???) stupid thing is you sort of look forward to the bloody things must be a self abuse syndrome, anyway if things change for me I will be in touch and we will go from there

Was going to be going with my Lad, unfortunately he decided to give scouts away, so no need for me to go now.

My eldest went up to scouts right before christmas & is looking to go to the AJ2013,if he pulls his finger out. He's off to Lostock for a 4 day camp next week, It will be good to have a couple of swaggers there to kick him in the bum if he misbehaves ;D ;D
