Overall I did like the Amarok except the price and some basic inclusions that should be standard but cost extra. Like $900 for bluetooth.

The only disappointing features for me was no audio control on the steering wheel (believe this is added in MY12), no bluetooth (a basic feature these days) and the fact that you cant read the radio screen with polarised glasses (which of course I have). Also the gear box takes a bit of getting used to but you get that jumping between cars otherwise it drove the best of all the Ute's I test drove and the indicators are on the correct side although I still turned the wipers on when turning (sad since both our cars are European).

"anyway it will be gone soon and we will have another vehical in 9 days time."

does this mean the D4 is about to arrive soon ?

I think Ness has made a good choice and hope she  gets  to enjoy great run from the "Rock".

Baz. Congratulations Mate
It's amazing how we can get emotionally attached to our cars, must be a male thing ;D
Look to the future mate I'm sure the "rock" will serve you well for many years to come

I don't know about being a male thing getting attached to cars.  I love cars too.   This morning I saw one of those rocks drive down our street, and I was suitably impressed, it looks really great. cheers Rellbell

Thanks Howard, I think she has too, I wanted to give her the Disco as a trade, just to help her out a bit more so she could add a few more accessories.

Yes, we pick the D4 up next Wednesday.

I don't think you have to be male to become emotionally attached to your car.  I still mourn the sale of our Ford Falcon XC Rally Pack 351 (White), 22 years ago.  He had convinced me that we could get a wagon and the kids could sleep in the car when we go skiing/camping.  I don't think either of the kids ever did.  Ahh she (XC) had a fantastic exhaust note.  cheers rellbell
