While lost makes some valid points, I'd have to say family, health and fun!

Use to think that, but now I am 42, I am not too sure!  I agree with the passing on of genes and have been doing my bit at that every chance I get, but maybe there is more to it.  I do the beer bit as well and yes it is a nice part of life but not the meaning.  Boobs, yeap love those too, but again they are a part of the journey, so perhaps it is the journey that is most important and thus the meaning of life.

One of my life motto's:  It's all about the journey.
Another:  De Camino A La Verada (Do not stray from the path).

There are a few others, but those are my fav's.

Ever consider life is nothing more than a randomize accident, you have no purpose or control, it is what it is and then you die.

Cause and effect of being cast extra's in a play about  " closed natural law environment"

A Symbiotic being with finite energy, where chemical precursors convince us to pair up and replicate as a design requirement where in fact we are fooled to believe it's free choice when in fact it's not( hard wired to breed).

We are less than 1% of the worlds species ( variation of types of living organisms) but we consume 90% of the worlds resources.

Looking at the ecological foot print model, threshold shift of change has been ongoing with our complex adaptive ecosystem, and current rate of species replication we need the resources of another 6 planet earths to maintain a balance in finite resources.

Will we be our own undoing or will we have faith in man's ability to restore hope for mankind through technological and sociopolitical advances with intergenerational change.

Historically Anthropocentric attitudes have left a ticking timebomb and without a global shift to deep ecology or Ecocentric principles we could end up like the " Easter Island Scenario"

Meaning of life will varying with timeline, geographical, politcal, sociocultural and religious ideology in other worlds multiple influence where the defined view point constantly evolves.

As for the meaning to life today, it's simply about being good Stewarts of where we live because we are borrowing from our future generations.

I think I need a beer and tv turned over to family guy or simpsons.

Hmmm,
Well, I guess it means something different for everybody.
Kinda like religion I guess.
I was raised in a Catholic house, Gee, I was even an Alterboy until year 7, 1979.
I've come to appreciate the values that my family have given me.
I am far from a practicing Catholic these days.
My thoughts about life and beliefs are
I believe in my family, My family comes first, then my mates/friends, then my community/neighbours, town, State, County.
And if there is a God, I reckon he would be pretty happy with that.
If there's not, Well I've lost nothing.

Happy and safe travels.
