Hey Guys,

I know flags have been brought up many time before and we will endeavour to get the flags flying soon.

Thanks for Jkohn doing the leg work and he has past on the info to me. I have only had a quick look at the info but hope to go over it in the next few days between night shifts.
Cheers
Brett

I was only thinking about the flag yesterday, as it would have been good to have one for our Christmas get together.

Hi Brett, I think it should be money up front with order so you are not out of pocket, based on that I will have one please  ;D

... but if your buying in bulk to save coin, that wont happen. buying them as ordered would probably end up costing a bomb.

You missed the point here, you won't by in ones and twos you wold have a cut off date and those that paid in that period would get ordered and then you would buy those in bulk, why should Brett have to outlay his own money and then wait for payment, and what about those who ordered and don't pay, Brett is left holding the flag.

Still believe money up front and if I have to wait a couple of months till the flag arrives then I prefer to do that than have someone else out of pocket.

Or negotiate a deal the same as the wheel covers and order and pay for your own
 That my opinion anyway

CRW I know where you are coming from, I know I wouldn’t mind paying for my flag first. That would give Brett the choice if he himself wishes to have extra flags for stock to sell later on

Sorry to say this but. All I want to know is are we doing this? If so what is the cost? Where do I send the money? and When do you need it by?

If we are going to get them stop ginning around and just do it. I don't even know who has organised this or anything so I don't even know who to thank. If it has Brett's permission to run with then it is OK. Someone just needs to say right I am ordering 30 of these to get them at $x.00 Whos's in, problem solved and we have flags underway. Postage wont be much more than $8.00 for a flag as it folds up pretty small and doesnt weigh much.

If no one is doing this how do I unsubscribe to this thread ;D

The short answer is...the Flags are getting organised ASAP.  Brett's last set of days off from work were spent on the Forum Upgrade and this days off will be spent on the Flags including determining size, design and what the minimum bulk order will be to ensure that we get them at a good price for everyone.  As soon as he knows price and approx ETA he will post up on the Forum.

Thanks Jillsy,

I thought Brett didn't have the time for this and someone had already done the leg work. I appreciate you letting me know what is happening.

Cheers Paul

Do you know how high I can with my flag pole before I' am considered in the flight plath?
I would then need to put a flashing red light on top of my flag pole.
Also does anyone know if I would need to use 6 B&S cable for said light?  ;D
