Jumping Jack Trailer
« on: October 08, 2011, 08:01:10 PM »
Hi Guys I am new here.

Just got back from the Sandown Leisurefest and saw a Jumping Jack Trailer there and am considering going back tomorrow to purchase.
They really suit my needs as I ride quad bikes(as my name suggests) and these are made to carry these up top.
Any info you guys have on them would be helpful.
i believe they are partly made in the USA and finished over here.
They are sold by a mob called Outback jack Campers

Cheers

They got a package with a few bits for $14500
It converts into a box trailer as well so suits me as i don't have room at home for a camper and my 6 x 4

So the beds are basically single on the base model? And then you can buy extra panels to make them a double/queen??  Is that part of the package?

In the package I was quoted it came with double beds on both sides as well as 2 x water racks(with Jerry's) 2 x cooler racks , a lantern post , large awning , table legs for the outside table all included. After working it all out once I got home it was a saving of about $500.
I'm sure they will honor the show price for me if they want to get another sale..

Sounds good Quadman - I'll be interested to see it when you take delivery. I can remember looking at these a while ago and thought they were an interesting solution.

Make sure you keep us up to date. Congrats on the new camper too, by the way!

Thanks!
Matto :)

Hope the tent isn't too much of a pain in the ar$e to set-up... looks a bit fiddly. Although I like the concept it looks a bit barebones for the price I reckon... no kitchen (well no kitchen with storage), no annexe and no front box.

Mark I asked at the show for a demo of the setup and pack down as i needed to see how it went.
It suprised me that total time for each was about 3-4 mins even while talking me through it.
It has a 6 foot awning for shade zipped to the front but no annex walls which is fine with me as
we spend out time on the bikes or by the fire mostly.I admit it may not suit large familys who spend
alot of time inside the tent but thats not me.
I've also added a large lockup box on the drawbar for my gear.

Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....
