Scam for sure. Report it to gum tree. There was a similar one when I was looking on Trading Post a while ago.

Definitely a scam, says it is in Adelaide, photo is not taken in SA, wrong type of power pole in the background, camper is not registered in SA.  another fake add by a scum bag scammer.

Only concrete poles in SA. Thats right isn't it.

EDIT; I think it is steel poles..

When we were trying to sell our Jayco Eagle recently we had LOTS of scam emails asking for lots of details including the VIN/chassis numbers, rego numbers, our address, making offers etc - and they were people who would refuse to contact us via phone.  In return we refused to reply to people via email or SMS.

If someone is genuinely interested, they will call and speak with you.  We then asked people to verify who they were.  If they are not prepared to provide details then they are not genuine buyers, or sellers.

Be very careful everyone!

Same camper in Melbourne.

Also did a search of his email address and he turned up on a site in Calgary selling a Dodge.

Cheers

Another on Gumtree.  I feel iffy buying something off these sites that don't have any fees for listing.  Good place to get rid of all your "hot" goods.

Of course it may not be a scam, he may just have listed it in every state to improve his chances of ripping someone off, oops I mean selling it ;D

I didn't see the add from yesterday,  it was removed by the time I saw this thread.  I have reported it,  but it must be worthwhile for them to keep posting them up.
