Hey from West Gippsland
« on: September 19, 2011, 09:47:07 AM »
Hi all!

We have been campers for a while with a rooftop tent being the main accommodation for the last couple of years. With the recent arrival of baby number two we decided that the four of us just won't work well with our current setup. Our search for a camper trailer was started a few months ago and, after having a look at lots of setups at the 4x4 show and research online and visiting some local companies, we've decided on an Aussie Jay's Camper Trailers "Big Red" with a Drifta kitchen and motorbike trailer on the back. We are SOOOO excited and couldn't have made such an educated decision without information from members on this site, so THANKYOU!!!

We're looking forward to our first trip in it (two kids under two makes the thought a little daunting, but I'm sure we'll manage!) and hoping that cup weekend may be our first opportunity. We're still in the quoting/optioning up stage but hope to have the ball rolling properly within the next few days.

See you on the road!!

Welcome to MySwag, by the sounds of it you have a short wait which is great. Get the kids out there as young as possible and they will just want to keep going back for more and more, mine do. Keep us updated on the trailer and your travels, and join in one of the meets when you get a chance

Welcome,

Looks like a good value camper. Just a tip for camping with young'ens  - drink heavily, you won't hear any complaints from kids nor SWMBO.
Enjoy the site!
