Newbie from The Gong
« on: September 17, 2011, 08:27:53 PM »
Hi all,

We are a newbie to the CT world. We have been looking around for about 10 months now and have probably spent about $100k in our heads in that time!  ;D We ended up getting a Market Direct Camper which fitted into our budget. We NOW realise it's probably not the greatest of campers, but for now..it fits in our budget and it will be mostly used for coastal camping. We are looking at getting something decent late next year and do the big trip across/around this great country!
We pick it up on Tuesday and go on our first trip to QLD in October for 3 weeks. We are pretty excited. Anyone else used/own a Market Direct Camper?

Cheers

PS, the Mrs is loving going through all the "photo of the month pics" getting some great idea's for places to go! :D

thanks for the welcome everyone. We pick up our trailer on Tuesday night and we can't wait to pack it all up and get on the road in October. We have always loved camping and used to put the fishing Kayaks on the roof of the car, camping gear in the back and off we went. Then the baby came along and it's not so easy any more. So we gave up the 4 man tent and bought the camper.

All those replies & no  :worthles:

Grew up in Mt Ousley, Corrimal & Fairy Meadow areas but haven't be back for years.

Seriously mate, welcome to the forum. We won't be around in October but I'm sure some of the friendly folk around the NSW north coast would love to catch up with you.

Regards
