Bed end flys
« on: August 23, 2011, 12:54:57 PM »
Hi all

Chasing a set of bed end flys for our Goldstream Camper.

Kratzmans want close to $900 for a set (installed) from Goldstream. Kakadu Annexes want $700 for a set installed.

Have spoken to Johnolas in Nanango who can do a set for $350 plus $25 postage. http://www.johnolasbedflys.com.au/bedflys.html

I will need to source my own poles and install it myself and am happly to pocket the differenece and spend it on something else (beer or solar), so this is ok.

Just wondering if any swaggers have purchased from Johnolas or can comment on the quality.

Thanks

GS

Don't know where you are but Jayco ones should fit and the Perth dealer sells two sets with poles for around $400 from memory.

I am happy with mine.  The only change I made was that I had to modify the tie down straps.   He uses press studs, which are useless.  I just used some stainless eyelets and some toggle fasteners from Whitworths.

Hi GS

The ones that came with my Windsor Escape are from RV Warehouse at Brendale. They make them onsite. I had some very minor issues with one of mine, but Stewie and the guys had it fixed in no time. No charge, no fuss and couldn't do enough for me.

No affliation, just great customer service.

Hope that helps

Found these on eBay, they don't look too bad.
