Kombi required for daughters "school formal" Cairns

G'day all,

My daughter graduates from school this year and has her heart set on being dropped at the school formal in a VW Kombi (she's a little hippy at heart). Anyway as parents we couldn't be more proud of her and i'm trying to hunt one down......... anyone know of a proud Kombi owner in Cairns willing to help me out...... happy to discuss fee, and yes Kombi owner to drive the Kombi, just pick up daughter and her date and drop off in the city.........

I can't help with a Kombi, But she is showing class there. Anyone can arrive in a limo!

Congrates on the daughters graduation ;D

they certainly do arrive at formals in all sorts of vehicle, I remember doing a formal a few years back (yep I drive limos part time) while we were at the drop off, a group arrived on a vintage fire truck with sirens blairing, well that drew attenion, mainly because it had started raining, no roof on vintage fire truck  >:D  so the group were wearing fireman jackets over their evening wear and hold umbrella's.  ;D

Hi Barra, I'm a member of the forum Lost mentioned - www.kombiclub.com - I have owned my 1969 camper since I was 18. I'm a bit far from Cairns, and it's awaiting restoration anyway, but if you haven't taken it any further I'll put a request up on the forum for you - let me know. Good bunch of people on that site, bit like this site.
