Just purchased a bench saw... Tim Allen eat your heart out.

All I need now is to make a work bench to intall a drill press & I'm fully kitted.

Then again..a plasma cutter sounds positively wicked..might have to get me one [don't tell SWMBO but - lol]

They are so good, I generally hire one but they cut the time down.
If you can get a self feeding screw gun with the extension, you can cut the fixing time to a third because it is si quick and you dont need to keep shifting planks and ladders to get all round the room.

I purchased a 160A DC TIG/Stick & 40A plasma cutter about 5 years ago to help me build one of these 36' steel boats:

Small | Large

Loved it! (Still do). AC would be nice for Aluminium welding, but otherwise great.

That was when we were living in Canada ... never did finish the boat, had a kid and moved back to Oz.

Had to leave my Argon bottle back there - damn shame you have to rent them here (although I see that there's now someone in Sydney who sells and refills 'em).

Too true, my wife is always onto my about having multiples, here favourite story is "he has three nail guns".  I started collecting titan chisels and turner planes a few years back and it turned into a disease for a while ;D
