CT Kitchen Storage
« on: July 17, 2011, 08:13:03 PM »
Hey All,

Just after some ideas for storing food plus other items in the kitchen cupboards.
We have put down some rubber mating to try and stop things moving too far and have tried a few storage boxes but they seem to take up too much room and waste a lot as well, we have thought about cardboard cartons but not sure that is better either.

What does everyone else do just throw it straight in and shut to the door what is the system that works for you??
Just trying to maximise the space we have in our CC Jabiru without having to unpack the whole cupboard everytime you want something from the back.

Your thoughts......

Keep things you use all the time handy and those other items way up the back out of reach without removing 3/4 of the contents.   ;D

We have a pullout pantry that goes the entire width of the CT and things are always falling over (tins and bottles) which is okay.  We lined it with marine carpet to stop things marking the stainless steel.  Things like sugar, coffee, salt, pepper and tomato sauce are handy ... everything else gets checked for use by dates regularly.

One thing I can't leave home without is my spice rack ...
