Trailer not sitting plumb
« on: June 28, 2011, 08:42:01 PM »
I was thinking about raising the front  of my cub when traveling , it is about 80 - 100 mm down at the front  I know there has been a bit of talk on this subject
Came across this site while lookin into the subject  could be helpful to a lot of trailer owners out there.
They also have Hitch Receiver Extensions

Wearing the black hat, I have to ask about the ADR compliancy. Couldn't see it listed anywhere on the website.

Hi gunna,

With my Cub Escape having coil suspension and 16 inch wheels it rides fairly high off the ground, as a result I decided to get a new tongue for the Challenger towbar (The original tongue could not be used turned over.) , it lifted the drawbar by 110mm so now the Cub rides close to level with the hitch slightly down.
The Challenger also has had a 50mm lift with Old Man Emu Springs and Shocks.

Off the same sight http://www.janer.com.au/85-3634-07.pdf I wonder how these would go on the trailer.

This is the best and cheapest way to go, why spend all that money on those items in that website when you can solve it for free.

Your also adding another device, keep it simple with just one tongue.
