Coffs Camping soon to be Perth Camping
« on: May 23, 2011, 07:55:42 PM »
Good Evening One and All,

The children and I have seen and done most of the East Coast (not really) and have decided we need more adventure. We are packing up and moving to Perth to explore that side of the country in our 4WD and camper (I wish).

Truth is, the job offer is too good to pass on and so we are off. We are nervously excited but looking forward to all the exciting opportunities, especially the camping in brand new places we have heard of, seen in mags and other peoples photos, and always wanted to explore.

So, see you on the other side (of the dreaded move and the countryside).

Nav - too late! Take more than that!

BHG - thanks  :'(

Bullfrog - thanks. I am sure we'll be back from time to time. We are planning to leave Coffs in mid-July. Had to keep it on the QT for a while.

Captain - I'll take you up on that. We will be looking for new camping friends. Hope you are nicer to newbies than Nav ...

Danbri - Cheers! Logisitics just can't capture the intensity of the headaches!

Advance welcome to WA CC!

The camping options are endless here, I'm sure you and the kids will have a blast exploring and searching them out  :D

To speed up the process, keep an eye out in book/camping stores called "A guide to priceless campsites and rest areas" (author Jan Holland).  She has written seperate books for the South West and Northwst of WA and they've been invaluable in helping us find some fantastic out of the way camping spots  :cup:

Cheers,

Alchemist

A bit of a medical condition and a short stay in Hospital will throw a big spanner in plans.  The sun is shining again today so we are back at it.  have to have the bed finished for the June Long Weekend.  That will be our maiden voyage to test the sleeping quarters out anyhow.
Cheers

Hope you're feeling better soon! This nurse recommends a good dose of camping, including an appropriate quantity of sun, sand, sea or bush, admisnistered for at least 2 days (preferably 2 weeks), supervised by well qualified co-campers. Whilst the treatment is best sought in far locations, local facilities have an excellent reputation. This remedy is scientifically proven to improve health, wellbeing and longevity.

Take care.
