What colour should I paint my bar work

Colour coded as it is now
Black as it was previously
Gloss black with a red pearl flake
Why bother as you will probably only crash again

The same colour as the wheel arches (preferably both colour coded, but if wheel arches are black, then go with black bar).

If your not going with the dayglo, color coded looks a little more up market IMO

And yes the car does appear bogged in both photos....awesome trick photography...lmao

Sorry about this Mr Mac, but of course it looks bogged it's a Nissan!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D (just joking).

I would go with the black, the colour coding does look flash when it is unmarked, but, as you know, they don't stay that way for long when you hit the scrub.

I have a colour coded bar & while it does look great any chips can ruin the effect.

Also after last weeks run, bugs look like stonechips & stonechips look like bugs.

I'd go black for practicality & colour for the bling.

Go for black, color coded looks too bling.
It is not a city slicker is it?
So black it is.

Ok the decision has been made...

Although the majority of replies say black the majority of votes are for colour coded... ???

Colour coded it is... :cup:

Good work. I know the black is easier to work with, but colour coded looks so much better 99% of the time!

Colour coded it is... :cup:
Nice. Well done - I think it looks heaps better colour coded. No rule that says "real 4wds" have to look like crap!  ;D ;D Bling for the win!

Please, whatever you do though, DON'T paint the snorkel! There's a couple of cars running around home with colour-matched snorkels, and they just look SOOO wrong.  ;D I'm sure the owners probably like them, but it's really not my cup of tea. Probably sounded like a realy good idea at the time...

Thanks!
Matto :)
