Hi from Canberra
« on: May 07, 2011, 04:08:37 PM »
Hi, long time visitor, new to the forum but had our Camel Discovery for about 10 months, with the longest being 3 weeks of bringing rain the SE Qld over Christmas.  We have been out at least once every month and with rain on every occasion, Tent now well seasoned and now dry.

I have put in a fair bit of work and now with 2x100 amp batteries, 7 sockets and all wiring and fuse setup with battery monitor and internal trailer light hard wired – and still having fun.

Thanks to this site I have got plenty of info to go on with

When I get to figure how to post pics, they will follow.

G'day & Welcome.

If you can fit up the electricals to the camper you'll figure out how to put some photos up :).

Hi John & Ruth.

Welcome to Myswag from another South Canberran. With all your electrical knowledge, maybe I should drop my camper in to you for a few mods. :)

I thought we were the only qualified drought breakers, but it sounds like you have a pretty impressive record, too.

Happy camping!

Steve

Wow I didn't realise there were so many camper trailers in Canberra.  Welcome!

Maybe we should have that A.C.T. get together in the spring?
