mice in CT during storage between trips?
« on: April 27, 2011, 08:08:41 PM »
Just checking - There are lot of mice around at the moment, has anyone had them nest in the CT or worse had them eat through the canvas while the CT is being stored between trips?

If so what have you done to lower the risk of this happening

Cheers

Had mice get into tent in Flinders Ranges last month.  Chasing them around the CT at 3 am was amusing ;D ;D, but we found where they were getting in and blocked it off with a sponge!

There's a mouse plague out home at the moment and Dad went and bought a heap of those little cakes you find in urinals, put them in all the vehicles, trucks and tractors. Worked a treat, no mice in any of them, just find the best smelling one unless you don't mind your CT smelling like a trough
