Cub Camper Ensuite-Anyone got one?
« on: April 24, 2011, 11:15:28 AM »
Happy Easter One and All,

Hope everyone is enjoying their break. We're having a nice quite weekend here. Just got a question regarding the Cub Camper Ensuite. Does anyone have one and if so are you happy with it. We are thinking about getting some sort of shower tent (one with a bit of room as the one we have at present was cheep and is very small) but then remembered that our Cub was built with the provision for the ensuite. Can't remember what the ensuite cost but I'm thinking it would probably be cheeper to just buy a shower tent and position it where the ensuite would attach onto the camper. Anyway if anyone has one we'd be interested in your thoughts.

Cheers!
Kaye

We thought about it but decided to get a free standing unit. You can place it where you like and not be connected to the CT. We haven't uhad the need to use ours yet.

Use the Caravan Park/camping ground showers, or if in the middle of nowhere, who cares? Feel sorry for the wildlife though  :D

The Cub Camper one would be canvass and therefore expensive. We decided against. If you got one it would mean that if you use it you will end up with a large pool of water around or under the van. Best off with a tent positioned away from the van.

I would agree. Best to keep the water further away from the CT. Portable ones are lots lighter and easier to dry and store too.
