off road box trailers
« on: April 03, 2011, 05:36:12 AM »
Any ideas who makes good quality off road box trailers reasonably priced in queensland.

I now have some idea about what I would like in my camper trailer.

Now to find out if I can afford it.

Bert           HI Bert A standard offroad trailer is probably not to bad a price but when you start asking for swing out tailgates and this and that, thats when they start rubbing there hands together. >:D  :cheers:TINKERA.

Just Trailers in Beenleigh/Acacia Ridge made mine. It was $1700 with 1 jerry holder but i paid $2000 after i added 2 jerry holders, a gas holder, tonneau cover and an upright spare mount:

4 years later it's now got a camper top on it and going strong:

They now list the 7x4 as $2025 so it's gone up $300 in 4 years. Link to their website

cheers

Bert If your going to get a trailer made look to the future . Get the add ons now gas bottle holder , jerry cans , room for a tool box of size , treg . brakes. or the axel plates to rotro fit brakes . Lots easier to do now than later . At any stage you can put a tent on top to convert to CT . Build em tuff to start then its no drama later .
