I've got 35 out of 100.  But there are a few things I don't want to do on that list and a few I do want to do that aren't on that list.

Just a few in no special order that spring to mind

Catch a 1mt + barra

Do the Simpson, Cape, Kimberley's, CSR at least once each

Climb the "Rock"

Swim with a Whale Shark

Live on the road for an undetermined time

Watch my kids grow up healthy and happy and outlive me

Live on an outback station for at least 12 months

there's probably a thousand more if I sit here long enough
Cheers Glen

Hem

I would have to say i have done most of the big ones off that list.
I agree with Hem. Dont think of reasons for not doing things. My dad dying taught me that.. I have a 10 minute rule.. If  you were suddenly told u have 10 min to live would u be content with what you have done?

Im sittin alone in a park in the main st of Mittagon typing this.. How bizzare
Sorry for being serious, now back to your normal programing...

My problem isnt doing these things just once, its about seeing these areas many times.. each time its a different experience.

I once did the Simpson West to east then turned around and did it east to west... the return trip was on the same tracks... but SO different.

Then seeing a place in its driest of dry then returning when its full of wild flowers..... wow. I have fond memories of the Strzelecki Greens.. like a massive golf course... full of bunkers!

Even seeing Uluru several as many times as 18 in one year, it was always different.

Enjoy whatever you do. I dont think you can make a mistake as to where to go. If its in Australia, its good!

Every where I go I bring pleasure. Sometimes it's when I arrive... but usually its when I leave!

I have been blessed with a fantastic wife and a wonderful son and nothing much means anything without them. You can travel the world seeing all it's sights and have money to burn but can be empty inside. Anywhere I go with my two blessings is a trip worthwhile. (No I'm not p1ssed and rambling lol but I am about to crack open a coldie!!)

Second barra I caught was 1070mm, its hard to top that now, so a 1000lb marlin would do it just nice

100 Things to Do Before you Die?

Don't start on them?
There's no Great Evil conspiracy against consumers within engineering, manufacturing and supply. Just the many tradeoffs incurred to satisfy diverse tastes, priorities and wallets. But first comes all the insatiable Gummint eggsperts, nanny-staters and usual suspects.

49 for me, with some poetic license. Eg. Been on cable beach looking at camel train, waked thru the Bungles not flown etc.

Done my 8 week return trip to the Kimberly after 35 years . Looking at trees l had planted on the last trip at Lake Argyle , thinking about all the people that would have sat in the shade . Noting the changes to what l remember & being able to get to places that there but largely unknown back then .
Watching a doco on TV , only to note all the places that l had boon . & the memories flooded back
