MySwag Flag
« on: March 26, 2011, 05:41:41 PM »
We have stubbie holders, stickers and wheel covers ... how about a myswag.org flag or banner for setting up at group meets? Would make it easier for everyone to find each other and also advertise this great site.

It has been suggested in a few topics but from my searching nothing has ever eventuated.  So mods ... what are the chances? Personally, I wouldn't know where to start getting flags made but there must surely be someone on here who is slightly cluey on this topic?

Yep, I'd be into one of those. I have an Aussie flag for around Aussie Day, Bronco's Flag if they are playing when we are away, State of Origin (Qld of coarse) if it's that time of year and a My Swag flag would be great for all other occassions.

My Aussie flag is made by Austral Flags here in Australia www.australflags.com.au it's dimensions are 550 x 275mm. Using a piece of aluminium tube sitting on a spiggot on top of one of the annex poles, the flag just slips into the tube. I have no photos, but I will see what I can do over the next couple of days.

Are you suggesting that people buy their own myswag flags or that there is a couple that can be utilised?

I'd be in for a Myswag flag.  Need the design artists to fall out the woodwork.

The sticker logo on the flag would be cool and easily recognisable.

Why not the pic already being used on the stickers & stubbie cooler?
