Great story always good to help, even better when the help is appreciated, hears a quick story about what happend to me a few weeks back
I saw an old lady and her mother (about 80 years of age) with a blown tire on the side of the road a few weeks back on one of those stinking hot days on the Northern Beaches. Running early for my next appointment I decided to stop and change it for her. I walk up to the daughter (about 50 - 60 years of age) who was on the phone to NRMA and i said quietly to her " would you like me to change the tire for you". Out of the corner of my eye I saw the mothers eyes light up with joy but the daughter ignored me and just kept talking. So I waited a few minutes and asked again this time a little louder but still very polite... To my shock she took the phone away from her ear and said in a very cranky/rude voice " can't you see I'm on the phone!!!". So with that I walked back to the van and continued on my way.
I was in total shock that someone could be so rude... Some people just don't know whats good for them
I would of loved to know how long NRMA took to get there that day.
