Hi from TJ in Sydney
« on: January 26, 2011, 10:43:05 AM »
I've just joined and must say you guys rock with so much information on here.  Looking forward over the next few days to check out as much info as I can before I loose my sight LOL.

I brought a "light" off-road camper trailer last year and (unfortunately  ;D) found I enjoyed it much much more than I thought I would.  After a couple of months of google searches have narrowed my next purchase to an Aussie Swag.  I have noticed a couple of users have them and would appreciate any feedback other than what I have already found.  Has anyone had issues (minor or major) that I should be aware of as I have been unable to find anything during my searches.

My next trip is down to Lake Conjola in February for a week.  Have to stay in a caravan park  >:( as my current set-up only allows for about 2 days away from mains power.  I put off buying solar panels due to my new pending purchase in about 4 months time.

Look forward to hearing your ideas and getting some great ideas on travel destinations.

Welcome to myswag TJ. I agree those Aussie swag campers are pretty good set up . I haven't heard a bad thing about them. They were above our budget when we were looking . As you said there are a few of them on this site so you should have trouble getting your questions answered.

Thank you for the welcome Ray-C.

Yes they are pricey but I'm doing this now while I can and it should last for quite a number of years.

Thanks D4D,

My vision is going trying to read everything LOL.

Can't wait for the Camping show in May to have a final look over and make a purchase.

Tjwrexy Welcome To Myswag  , sorry to hear about your eye problems , Must look into that . Before you go charging off to the camping ripoffs re solar have a poke about in Showroom  will worth a look . Then enter the dark & consuming world of " Mods " we have all been there , some are still trying to stop . You end up with a really snappy CT  Enjoy

Welcome TJ,
I hope you enjoy your time here.
I have only ever heard good things aboutr Aussie Swag.
Before we purchased the Kimberley we had a shortlist of 3 campers and one was the Aussie Swag.
All the owners of them on here rave about them.

Cheers
Parry

Welcome to the forum, sounds as though you are about to make one large mod, the Aussie Swag looks to have all bases covered
