independent suspension
« on: January 07, 2011, 08:11:10 AM »
Hi all
I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone knows of a chassis manufacturer in or close to Adelaide that will build a new flat deck chassis using independent suspension (such as cruisemaster airbag).
I am looking at an ATM of 1700 -2000 kg so I can build a new extreme offroad trailer.
The local guy I have used for the last two I have made is not a fan of independent suspesion on offroad trailer.
cheers

You could contact Tregg trailers and see if they will help you out.

Hi

Have you tried Wilmax Aluminium Fabrications, he has made a few trailers with Cruisemaster on and I believe will work in Aluminium or steel

Maybe he believes in the motto "Parts left out cost nothing and cause no service issues"

A leaf spring suspension is tried, proven and easily repaired anywhere on earth.

This is not always the case with independent suspension.

Find the right independent suspension and roberts your fathers brother!

Cruisemaster gets a good rap.
My alternative to cheap import trailers;
