You can see that they are happy under Smith - but he ISNT good with the media - actually hes shocking. looks like a deer in the headlights.... bad thing in modern times.

as for cluck, 4 FULL games in the shield to prove himself, then if he doesn't break, he can come back as a 12th man.

I don't know that it matters what he is like in the media I would rather see a captain who plays well in his position bat bowl or keep. And one who has the support of the players on and off the field and can make decisions with how the game is going who to bowl next etc.  He can either have media training or select someone else to front the media each game.  I think there is too much hype of sticking cameras in faces like in BBL when they just go out and trying to interview not even off the field yet. If he captains well and the media is his only negative leave him in there

couldn't agree more... but Ch9 holds the keys to the wallet.. like NRL / AFL - what the TV man wants the TV man gets.. even what ground, and time they start... if they want someone they can waste an hour a game interviewing instead of 1 word answers - they will get it.. that's one thing that kills me about modern sport :(

While I agree nein hold the key to schedule, influence over rates etc. I don't believe they have anything to with selection or players etc that's CA

How cringeworthy is it watching maxwell play espicially the last 20 runs. You just know his going. To fail the way he was swinging at everything !as opposed to Faulkner who is a ODI freak and you just awe at his talent , with the ball as well.

An injured Jimmy Faulkner saves the selectors dropping Watto. Shame, Faulkner was in great form.

world cup coming up. would you put Clarke back into the team or as I reckon say sean marsh. first games against England and the 2cnd is against Bangladesh so Faulkner has abit longer for recovery and I wouldn't rush him as its more important to have him fit and rearing to go come the finals.
whats your thoughts?

Leave Clarke to get 150% fit (as fit as he can with his injury ) if that means missing the WC so be it. Make the ashes his swan song as Capt handing over how to beat the poms to Smith.  The ashes are the most important thing to win IMO.

if it's a choice between a fully fit clarke and a fully fit marsh, i'm taking clarke.

but if clarke is not 100% fit, marsh it is...

I think a half fit Clarke is probably better than a fully fit but out of form Bailey

i applaud Lee helping Ireland like he assisted Bangladesh. Not sure I like what Hussey is doing though?

It's one thing to help a minow, but to assist a dead set contender to beat Australia!!!
