G'day all!

Been lurking for a few weeks now initially from Google linking me here on a few occasions, and decided to join up.

No trailer at present, for camping I use a 12' x 15' canvas tent which barely fits in the back of my Jeep Cherokee once the rest of the gear is added, so I'm researching DIY builds to the end of eventually going down that path myself.

Funding the build will be my job at a well known local horse float manufacturer complete with fully kitted out metal work shop.  As my chief responsibility at work is the trailer electrics (both 12V and 240V, being the only licensed electrician in the place!) I like to keep myself updated with AS/NZS 3001, although we rarely fit complex inverter/charger setups to horse floats!!!

As Big Kev used to say, I'm excited!

I guess I'm not really a westie any more but I lived at Penrith for over 30 years and I still support the Panthers.  I think it's going to take a bit longer to get the "Westie" out of me. :cheers:
