Same, we are with CIL as they specialise in Vans and Campertrailers. We had our Kimberley Kamper also insured under these guys without issue though have never had to make a claim and hope never have to... ;D

I use AAMI as most of my other insurances are with them and they gave a great deal.

I use the RAA, have 3 cars, house and contents with them.  Was able to ensure  my hardfloor camper for $135 per year and as long as where i am towing the CT or camped is a legal place or if private property have the owners permission to be there, am covered.  Same goes for the 4WD.

We use CIL as they were the only ones at the time that covered awnings as well.   ;D

AAMI as they also gave a great deal due to holding other insurances with them.  They also advised that rather than paying for contents on a caravan policy include a set value of portable contents on your house insurance.  It is cheaper that way and also means you are covered for personal items in your car, pockets etc - best advice an insurance company has ever given me, means you get more value for your insurance $ as it is not just your camper/caravan contents that are covered.

$ are great, BUT, you need to make sure the policy you take out is what you require and covers everything you expect it should.

CIL $57 a month for $40+K ... full replacement in the 1st register year if totalled (ye gods NO!!!) ... and only Ins.Co. that did this at the time ... full coverage of all canvas regardless the circumstance ... contents coverage automatically ... other things I cover on my HH policy ... like my camera and lenses ... all my DiamonDs ...  ;D
